President Jens van Kakerken (Likud) vows to declare a national emergency due to the Coronavirus outbreak. With 23 cases and 1 death, the President wants to take action quickly before cases will top 50.
The President says he has a plan to combat this crisis, and says an Oval Office Address should be planned within this week.
The President wasn't willing to share his plan yet, as he is discussing it with the Vice President, before presenting it to Parliament.
The National Emergency is due to start at 10 PM (British Time) 11 PM (CET), this is the first time this decision is taken by the parliament, and a limit is placed on 1 week, before renewal must be asked!
